kACARS – Charter

At AmEuro you are not limited by the schedules we provide. If you want to fly an aircraft that is not in the list or a route that is not in the list you can fly a Charter route where you pick the aircraft and airports. Using kACARS is the easiest way to fly one of these routes.

First, you need to download and install the latest version of kACARS from this site. Installing the software is as easy.

Once installed start it up and go to the Options section and then select VA Profiles. Enter your Pilot ID and password into the appropriate boxes and enter http://www.ameurova.com/phpvms into the URL. Save this and you are ready to start flying (for more information read the section in kACARS – Scheduled).

Once you have the above complete login to the system and then go to the bottom right of kACARS and click on the Charter Flight check box. Click on Get Aircraft to load the aircraft in our fleet and select the aircraft from the list on the left side. Your screen should look like this now.

From here you start filling in the white boxes. These are the boxes that are required:

Flight number: Use AME0000 or AME0001
Flight Level: Your planned cruising altitude
Departure ICAO: Departure airport’s ICAO code
Arrival ICAO: Arrival airport’s ICAO code
Load: Number of passengers
Route: Optional. The route you took. GPS Direct is ok if that’s all you did.
Comments: Any notes you would like to see on your PIREP. These are available to you in the future in case you want to fly the route again.

Once all of this is entered start up FS, click on the Connect to FS button, and then click on the Start Flight button. Once you are at parked at their arrival airport click on the Stop Flight button and then on the File PIREP button. You’ll be given a message that your PIREP was accepted and you are done!
