Accelerated time in FS is permitted at AmEuro with some limitations.
1) You cannot use accelerated time during departure, climb, descent, and landing. You may only use Accelerated time during cruise. Any other time is considered unsafe.
2) The maximum accelerated time allowed is 4x. This is to keep the playing field level for all pilots. I have deemed that most payware and freeware aircraft behave erratically and the fuel burn is incorrect at more than 4x.
3) You are credited for the actual hours flown, not sim hours. For example, let’s say you fly a route that is 8 hours real time. You fly 6 of those hours at 4x so you will be credited for 2 hours of real time plus 1.5 hours of accelerated time (6 hrs divided by 4) for a total of 3.5 hours. If you fly the route in 8 hours real time you will be credited with 8 hours.
